北大纽约校友会欢迎北大学生代表团访问纽约

    2月2日晚，北大纽约校友会在曼哈顿中城举行的招待晚宴上欢迎北大学生代表团来纽约交流。北大学生国际交流协会(SIPA)组织的此次代表团由24位北大在校学生组成，他们来自不同的院系和专业。代表团学生与当天参加晚宴的北大校友代表热烈交谈，向学长们了解在国外的生活以及咨询未来职业发展的选择。

    北大纽约校友会常务副会长张苏华代表校友会为晚宴致辞欢迎学生代表团来纽约。在致辞中，张苏华向北大学生简单介绍了纽约校友会的情况和活动，特别强调了纽约校友会近年来在纽约的校友和华人团体中影响力不断增长。校友会执行委员李雪莹和李昊作为校友会的代表也参加了晚宴。晚宴气氛十分热烈，整个活动自始至终充满欢声笑语，最后所有参加的人员集体合影留念。

    出席晚宴的校友还包括康奈尔大学医学院中国学生学者联谊会主席齐玉琛和Fish & Richardson事务所的张涛律师

PKUAAGNY Welcomes PKU Student Delegation at Dinner Reception

Peking University Alumni Association of Greater New York (PKUAAGNY) welcomed a Peking University (PKU) student delegation visiting New York City in midtown Manhattan on February 2nd 2010 at a dinner reception. The PKU student delegation consists of 24 students from diverse academic background chosen by the Students International Communications Association (SICA) of PKU. They had warm discussion with the participating PKUAAGNY members and learned a lot about career development and life from alumni currently living in the United States.

Sam Zhang, executive vice president of PKUAAGNY, as well as other executive team members Xueying Li and Hao Li attended the dinner. On behalf of PKUAAGNY, Sam made an opening remark to welcome the Peking University student delegation. In the speech, Sam Zhang gave a brief introduction about PKUAAGNY as well as its rising impacts on the Chinese community in New York area. Over the dinner, visiting students took every opportunity to engage the participating alumni in meaningful discussions. The dinner was full of smile and happiness, and ended with a group photo of every participant.

Participating alumni also included Yuchen Qi, Cornell Medical College Chinese Student and Scholar’s Association President, and Tao Zhang, associate attorney of Fish & Richardson PC.
