易方达基金叶俊英总裁与北大华尔街校友交流

    应北京大学大纽约校友会邀请，易方达基金总裁叶俊英和红色资本总裁刘震10月7日参加了在曼哈顿中城御宴轩举行的晚宴。来自华尔街各界的40多位北大校友出席了当晚的盛会。

    易方达基金叶俊英总裁就国内基金业的现状和未来的发展方向进行了精彩的演说。易方达资产管理（香港）有限公司基金经理林永森也就易方达QDII基金在香港的发展进行了简单的介绍。红色资本刘震总裁則對當晚紐約校友的熱情給予了赞扬。叶俊英总裁表示，国内基金业仍处于初级发展阶段，未来的增长势头还将十分迅猛。国内投资方式，方向虽然受到市场条件的制约，但确信在不久的将来国内资本市场将更加完善，基金的发展会有质的飞跃。

    晚宴聚会由北大大纽约地区校友会副会长周洪主持，校友会副会长兼秘书长张苏华和副会长赵睿、董事会董事王光宇、执委会委员翟进、周静、李昊等出席。校友会会长楼新跃代表纽约校友热烈欢迎叶君英总裁和同僚访问纽约，与北大华尔街校友开展交流，并希望在华尔街工作的资深校友今后积极提携后进。华尔街校友们就投资策略，外汇管制，国家监管政策等重大问题与叶总进行了积极有益的交流。

EFUND’s President Junying Ye Met Peking University Wall Street Alumni

On Oct. 7, 2009, at the invitation of the Peking University Alumni Association of Greater New York (PKUAAGNY), Mr. Junying Ye, President of Efund Management Co., Ltd. and Mr. Zheng Liu, President of Red Capital, participated in a midtown Manhattan dinner held at Song’s Dynasty. More than 40 alumni on Wall Street attended the evening event.

Mr. Ye gave an excellent speech on the current and future development direction of the Chinese domestic fund industry. Efund (Hong Kong) Limited fund manager Nathan Lin also gave a brief introduction of the QDII fund development in Hong Kong. Red Capital President Liu Zhen enthusiastically complimented the evening event. Mr. Ye mentioned that the domestic fund industry is still at an early stage of development; however future growth will be very rapid. The current investment options and directions are still subject to the limitation of the market conditions; but he was sure that in the near future, the domestic capital market will mature and benefit the fund industry tremendously.

EFund Management Co., Ltd. was established in 2001. It is one of the few funds that have obtained the QDII certification. As of September 30, 2009, the company managed 17 open-end fund, one closed-end funds and a number of the National Social Security Fund's assets portfolio and corporate annuities special accounts. The dinner was hosted by Hong Zhou, a Vice President of PKUAAGNY; also presented were Vice President and Secretary-General Sam Zhang and Vice President Rui Zhao, Board Director Gary Wang, Executive Committee Team Members Jin Zhai, Jin Zhou, Aaron Li. On behalf of the Alumni Association, Daniel Lou, Current President of PKUAANGY, extended warm welcome to Mr. Ye and Mr. Liu. He also encouraged senior Wall Street alumni to act as mentors to the junior alumni in the future. Wall Street alumni also made valuable exchanges with Mr. Ye on investment strategies, exchange controls, national regulatory policy and other key issues in domestic fund industry.
