- 为庆祝中国农历新年的到来, 北京大学大纽约地区校友会诚邀校友和朋友共同欣赏具有特殊历史意义和超级文化艺术水准的全球巡演音乐会“我唱北京"的纽约首演。也欢迎大家参加我们为校友/朋友特别安排的音乐会前的小聚, 以及主办方为答谢演员及赞助人组织的音乐会后的慈善晚宴。

- To celebrate the upcoming arrival of the Chinese New Year, PKUAAGNY is inviting our alumni and friends to join us at an historically and artistically unprecedented concert - "I Sing Beijng", and at a pre-concert gathering specially arranged for alumni and friends and/or the post-concert patrons' banquet organized by the concert producers.

关于“我唱北京":

a. 这是一场由近三十位西方音乐家演唱、以中国歌曲为主、真正将中国音乐艺术展示在世界舞台上的中西合璧、史无前例的音乐会;

b. 音乐会台上有众多"中文流利"的优秀西方音乐人, 台下有更有众多世界一流领军人物 - 音乐会监导是在纽约大都会歌剧院一唱成名的"中国世界第一男低"田浩江先生, 指挥是大都会歌剧院著名指挥家Paul Nadler先生, 名誉主席是家喻户晓的多明戈先生, 主席有纽约德高望重的华裔慈善家唐骝千先生等, 伴奏则是纽约市歌剧院交响乐团;

c. 听过音乐会的校友/朋友的推荐: "这是一场不容错过的音乐会", "这是我听过的最精彩的中国歌曲音乐会";

About the Concert:

a. The first ever concert of nearly thirty non-Chinese speaking, enormously talented, highly trained western singers performing mostly Chinese and partially western songs and opera excerpts; a rare opportunity of the east meeting the west; a beautiful ocassion of Chinese music being showcased through the western artists' interpretation and performance on the world stage;

b. A magnificent international production produced/directed by Internationally Acclaimed Opera Bass Tian Haojiang 田浩江, conducted by Metropolitan Opera conductor Paul Nadler and accompanied by New York City Opera Orchestra, with Placido Domingo as the honorary chairman and Oscar Tang, Anna Sie and John J Sie as the co-chairs;

c. Recommendation by alumni/friends who have been to their concert in Beijing/Paris: "This is a concert not to be missed", "This is the best Chinese concert I have been to";
